Yusuf is his biological name known as Abex in the music world, born on the 23rd day of June in maiduguri the state capital of Borno state of Nigeria, he attended his primary and secondary education in maiduguri. later around 2002 - 2003 he came down to Kano State of Nigeria where he join the Hausa Film Industry Known as Kanywood in the Northern part of Nigeria as a crew member in post of production continuity. on  persistance to make his dream a reality around 2004 he declare himself as a producer with a production of a movie titled [[film/Linzami]] at his will. and introduced himself as an actor, successfully the movie gave a result as one of the best Hausa Movie of the time that drawn international attention to the growing industry." -http://www.abexnaija.4t.com/
